In the summer my nephew Edgar got an Angry Bird
bath robe from me.
He really liked it, but he subtly let me know,
that if I ever sewed something for him, a stuffed animal would be a great idea.
For example I could make a friend for his tiger Tim and white tiger would fit
very well.
So I sewed the little prince a white tiger for
his 8th birthday and tiger Tim got a friend too.
It wasn’t
that easy to sew the tiger though.
It started with finding plush with the right
tiger print - you can mostly only find zebra print - and ended with the fact
that I couldn’t find a pattern for
the stuffed tiger.
Finally I found plush with tiger print at stoff 4 you
and I made the pattern myself.
And I think it turned out kind of cute, even
when the proportions are not exactly correct.
The most important thing is, that Edgar was
super excited and even tiger Tim seems to get along very well with the “new one”
too.
