Little Irma is becoming a big sister!

Now I can make it official: Irma is becoming a big sister! And she still is so little herself!

In May baby 2 will be here and we have a mixture of feelings about that.
But no matter what fears we have, the joy and excitement, of what will happen, is huge. Because unfortunately on child doesnt make us pros.

Especially I am happy for Irma though. Its great to have siblings. If you love them or want them to jump in the lake, its a special bond that no one can take away.
And since the two of them are only 2 years apart I hope that the siblings love will also mix with friendship.
But this is all beneath the stars.

My dad is the best anyway! Published by Irma..

Fortunately at least Irma made something for him. Otherwise he wouldve gone crazy. Sick on his birthday and nothing to unpack.

For her daddy, who she thinks is the best, she wrote a book and I helped just a tiny little bit.

Zat you Santa Clause?

Here are Seasons Greetings from my brother Lukas!

The biggest joy for him are old E-Basses and Bass-Synthesizers. His last acquisition is a Roland GR-33. Other than drums and his own voice he solely used this old Bass-Synth to newly interpret the song Zat you Santa Claus? by Louis Armstrong.

I think this version is really funny, especially if you know the original!
A little bit of Tim Burton-atmosphere lies over this version..

Who likes it a little funky too, definitely check it out!

´Tis the season..

I love this time of the year and am so excited, that we can celebrate with three little kids this year. My two nephews Edgar and Hektor and of course our sweetie pie Irma.
With them the festivities will be even more magical. And I will be able to act out my childish delight without any wry looks.

Vladimir doesn’t really care about the whole christmas frippery and shares my excitement only moderately. But now that there are three of us, he suddenly finds idt “quite ok” and even offered to play Santa Claus this year. After all he senses how exciting this time for kids is und he would do anything for his little girl..

Because I am spending a lot of time at home now that I am a new mom, Vladimir usually is working and Irma is sleeping rather well, I decided to spend my time in a better way.
Enough with watching Shopping Queen and sprawl, this year all the christmas presents will be hand made.

When I told a friend she said: “Oh great! And what kind of things will you do? Straw stars?” No, I hope not!
Of course I will make an effort to create a little bit more exciting presents, despite of personal handicraft work.
We will see, how that is going to work out. Otherwise I may come back to her suggestion. However straw stars are kind of neat.
